Bookhood is a book tracking tool. It helps you catalogue physical books you own, record reading sessions and follow reading goals. Bookhood is not an ebook reader and does not provide book content. You cannot read books inside the app.

By using Bookhood or this website you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for the notes, titles, progress and other information you enter. Do not enter content that is unlawful or that you have no right to store. Your entries stay on your device in the current version, so keeping a backup of your device is your responsibility.

We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

• Purchases and subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and are billed and managed by Apple, not by us.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in line with Apple's rules.
• You cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• A lifetime purchase applies to the current Bookhood product under the Apple account used to buy it. It does not guarantee future separate products or perpetual server-side services.
• You can use Restore Purchases in the app to restore entitlements on a device signed in with the same Apple account.
• If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription according to the product information Apple displays at the time of purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Book metadata and cover images may come from Google Books, Open Library or similar sources. We do not control these services and cannot guarantee that a given book, edition or cover will be available, accurate or complete. You can always add a book manually.

Bookhood, its name, design, interface and original artwork belong to the operator. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Book covers and metadata remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Do not reverse engineer, resell, scrape or misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or use it to infringe anyone's rights or to break the law.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using Bookhood at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully.

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
